This Privacy Policy describes how PSX GenAI Advisor ("the Platform"), a Final Year Project at COMSATS University Islamabad, Abbottabad Campus, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our web application, mobile app, and PSX Fusion Copilot.

1. Information We Collect

• Usage data: Pages visited, API requests, and Copilot chat messages stored in PostgreSQL for session continuity and FYP evaluation.
• Market data: Public PSX stock quotes and indices from official PSX DPS and yFinance - not personal data.
• Contact information: Only if you voluntarily email or WhatsApp the project team (see Contact).

2. How We Use Information

• Deliver stock forecasts, portfolio rankings, Shariah screening, and Copilot responses.
• Improve prediction accuracy tracking and platform reliability for academic demonstration.
• Respond to support inquiries submitted via email or WhatsApp.

3. Third-Party Services

The Platform may call:

• Official PSX DPS - live market quotes
• yFinance - historical OHLCV data
• Groq - PSX Fusion AI Model predictions and Copilot natural-language explanations only
• PostgreSQL - local/self-hosted data persistence

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Copilot & Chat Data

PSX Fusion Copilot conversations may be stored in PostgreSQL (copilot_chat_history, conversation_sessions) for context memory during a session and FYP audit. Do not enter passwords, CNIC, or financial account credentials in chat.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

The web frontend may use browser local storage for Copilot session IDs and API configuration. No third-party advertising cookies are used.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices including HTTPS in production, PostgreSQL access controls, and environment-variable API keys. No system is 100% secure; use the Platform at your own discretion.

PSX GenAI Advisor provides AI-generated analysis for educational and research purposes only. It is not registered investment advice. Past accuracy metrics do not guarantee future results. Consult a licensed adviser before trading.

8. Your Rights

You may request deletion of Copilot session data or contact records by emailing hamzajadoon71@gmail.com.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the FYP evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
